The Diligence

Every deck now says AI. Diligence is deciding what it is worth.

For acquirers and funds, the practice measures the capability behind the claim: what runs in production, at what error rates, on what data foundation, and what breaks first under the value plan.

The examiner is a PhD pathologist and Fortune 50 AI operator, and the standard is the laboratory's, where a claim without a measured error rate is not yet a finding. Where the claim survives examination, the report establishes what it is worth under the value plan; where it does not, the report says so. Post-close, the same examination sets the hundred-day plan.
